It's The Bee's Knees' First Annual CD Blowout Sale!

I've finally run out of room on my massive CD shelf, so it's time to get rid of some music I never listen to anymore.

Some of the more embarrassing ones I got for free from Chart/Umbrella/various campus publications/my current place of employ.

NO MOCKING ALLOWED!

$5 per CD. 5 CDs for $20. They are mostly in excellent condition.

Email me at hisofi (at) gmail (dot) com if you want to buy any and we can arrange the easiest way for me to get them to you.

Sing Me To Sleep

I've been having the most vivid dreams lately.

Writing exams with unfamiliar questions. Taking surreal subway lines. Lying in hazy fields with green grass halos.

A famous actor swept me up in his arms. He laughed as he kissed my legs. It was sunny. I felt like a child.

My brain has been thrown for a loop. Maybe because I have recently taken my body into my own hands. Exerting control. Finally, finally. It doesn't sound healthy, but it is. Don't you worry about me. I'll take it slow.

I've given up chocolate. It's been a month.

Maybe I'll give up alcohol, too.

I am so goddamned hungry I am borderline nauseous.

I dream in colour, did you know that?

(Now playing: "Steady As She Goes", The Raconteurs)

WOXY Rules OK!

Image hosting by Photobucket

We interrupt your regularly scheduled silence for an emergency announcement.

The best internet radio station that I've ever listened to is in financial trouble and could shut down in a matter of weeks. I only discovered WOXY a month or two ago, and would like it to stick around for a lot longer.

I urge you to listen to WOXY (it's located under Alt/Modern Rock on iTunes radio). If you enjoy it as much as I do, please contribute a few bucks or become a member.

These guys play amazing, amazing shit. Primarily new indie rock, with some classics thrown in for good measure. I signed up a few days ago after they played some new Morrissey followed by my favourite Elvis Costello song. How could I not?

Yesterday afternoon, they played Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood's "Some Velvet Morning" and my jaw hit the goddamn floor. I have been quietly obsessed with that song for weeks. WOXY, how did you know?!

Basically, this station plays what I would play. Please give them money so they aren't forced to shut down in March.

Indie love in the time of Nickelback, my friends.

(Now playing: "He's A Deep, Deep Lake", Film School)
